Kiosk Full Screen Excel AddIn for Excel 2013+ working with Windows 10 and 11. Go Kiosk mode as Full Screen Excel with a Border, Full Screen Excel without a Border or a Manual Window size with or without a Border. Hide any other common Excel objects like the Ribbon, Worksheet Tabs, Statusbar, Gridlines, Formula Bar etc. All of the settings before launching are embedded into Excel and added back after pressing {F4}. You can setup the Kiosk AddIn (once installed as an AddIn) to launch automatically when opening an Excel File. You can also Save the current Kiosk configuration so that it is available each time you use Excel with your settings. This is Version 9.1
I like to use Kiosk to give me FullScreen Excel (Maximum Window space) and then still allow the Formula Bar and Sheet Tabs to let me switch Sheets. This can be handy when presenting Excel via a Projector when you want to have as much actual usable area to display as possible or just to present a Sheet in a Kiosk Style, no Border, nothing - check out the Videos for examples of usage with Excel to get an idea of what Kiosk can do
Please note: both the .XLSM and the .XLAM files are included. You can use this Software directly from the .XLSM File or as it is intended by Installing the Software as an AddIn
Right-click and extract the Zip Archive to your PC. Two Files will be extracted, Kiosk_v9_AddIn.xlsm and Kiosk_v9_AddIn.xlam
Install the 'Kiosk_v9_AddIn.xlam' File. Copy Kiosk_v9_AddIn.xlam. Open Excel. File->Options. Click on Add-ins. Click 'Go...'. Click 'Browse'. Right-click and Paste the AddIn. Select the File and click OK. Click OK again. The AddIn is now installed and ready for use
1. Open a Workbook of your choice. On the View Tab of the Ribbon select a Full Screen Mode and press the Kiosk Icon to launch the WIndow - remember to press {F4} Key to return all of the settings back to normal
Open the 'Kiosk_v9_AddIn.xlsm' File. Sheet1 contains the Kiosk Icon and internally will store the Radiobutton PNG images. The Settings Sheet will internally store all of the settings each time a Kiosk WIndow is launched
1. On the View Tab of the Ribbon select a Full Screen Mode and press the Kiosk Icon to launch the Window - remember to press {F4} Key to return all of the settings back to normal - Kiosk is best ran as an AddIn
The Kiosk AddIn is added to the View Tab of the Ribbon after the 'Workbook Views' Group
The first Group contains the Kiosk Button which launches whatever Mode is selected - press this after you have selected any of the other settings remembering that {F4} will exit Kiosk Mode. The next Group are the Radiobuttons used to select a single Mode in which to go Full Screen or Manual size. The choices are Border, Borderless, Manual Border or Manual Borderless. The first two options will both go Full Screen, whereas the second two will render a Window for Excel based upon the settings for the Kiosk Metrics. The third Group, the 'Full Screen Hide' Group, contains checkboxes that can be set to Hide any or all of the Excel Objects like Headings or the Formula Bar. This Group also includes the ability to Automatically Launch into Kisk Mode whenever an Excel File is opened and you have the AddIn installed. The fourth Group, the 'Kiosk Metrics' are used to change the Top, Left, Width and Height of a Kiosk Excel Window on the fly. In version 9.1 I have also added another Button, a Kiosk Save Button that allows you to Save all of the Kiosk settings in the AddIn
You can Enable Auto Launch Kiosk Mode to allow any Excel Workbook to automatically go straight into Kiosk Mode
Here is a quick video demonstrating how easy it is to install the Kiosk AddIn and then launch Full Screen. I also create a smaller Bordered WIndow on the Screen, hiding all of the Excel Objects except the Cursor

BUG #1. There is an issue with the Manual Borderless Option in Windows 11 using Dark Mode where the Window does not redraw when exiting - ths is currently an open issue and I am looking into a workaround, 29/06/2022

You can find the version history in the Code Module for any Macro-enabled Software or read more information below. The latest Version is always shown first
29.06.2022 - (Version 9.1) Ruberduck Code Indentation & Inspection added. Functionality added to allow the AddIn (or Code) to wait until the Workbook is activated and then automatically launch Kiosk mode depending on the configuration on the Settings Sheet. Added the ability to Save the current Kiosk AddIn settings to enable the automatic launch of Kiosk mode and retain setup configuration for Kiosk. Fixed the Bug on the Cursor being hidden only for Manual Borders. Added the ability to NEVER hide the Taskbar if required as you may just want to make a small Manual Bordered Excel Window, hide some objects, but not hide the Taskbar so now this is possible
01.05.2019 - (Version 9) an Excel Full Screen AddIn released - all other Versions are now deprecated!
