This documentation is to help you understand the Software and to give you a more meaningful insight into what it can do. Please go through the documentation and read it carefully · Moderate VBA skills will be required
You will need the following Excel Version & Prerequisite to use this Software
No support is provided for customization or development of this Software
This Software allows you to pick Fill, Font and Line Colours to instantly create minimalist Pivot Table and Slicer Styles that you can then use in your own Workbooks. It has a lot of different settings in which you can change many elements of the Pivot Table and Slicer UI design. You can choose to Copy the Style(s) to a Blank Workbook or to a Closed Workbook. You can also just Copy the Worksheet into your Project, then delete it - the Styles will be added into your Spreadsheet to use with your Pivot Tables and Slicers. The Repivot AddIn is a fully featured AddIn (with Reslicer) that allows you to Create and Save Pivot Table & Slicer Styles for Excel, using PNG's loaded via GDI for the Radiobuttons Group - see the AddIn link at the top of the Page!
Repivot now also includes a Testbed Creator - a quick way (without adding the AddIn) to Create and Save Pivot Table & Slicer Styles in Excel that can then be Copied directly into your Workbook for you to use
Use the Pre-defined Fill Colours and Themes to create some really awesome Pivot Table Styles or simply select your own Colours
Right-click and extract the Zip Archive to your PC. Four Files will be extracted, Repivot_v1.xlsm, Repivot_v2.xlsm, Repivot_v2 (Testbed Creator).xlsm and Repivot_v2.xlam
Install the 'Repivot.xlam' File. Copy Repivot.xlam. Open Excel. File->Options. Click on Add-ins. Click 'Go...'. Click 'Browse'. Right-click and Paste the AddIn. Select the File and click OK. Click OK again - a Message will be displayed informing you that the AddIn has been installed
1. Select a Pivot Table and click Design on the Ribbon (contextual Tab for the 'PivotTable Tools')
2. Select a Theme from the Theme Drop-down Combo Box and press the Repivot Button to restyle the Pivot Table
3. Select a Slicer and click Options on the Ribbon (contextual Tab for the 'Slicer Tools')
4. Select a Theme from the Theme Drop-down Combo Box and press the Reslicer Button to restyle the Slicer
Open the 'Repivot_v1.xlsm' File - there are 2 Worksheets you need to worry about, the Style Worksheet contains all of the settings and the Pivot Table Worksheet demonstrates the Styles on Pivot Tables and Slicers for you to test drive. Follow the steps below to create a new Pivot Table and Slicer Style
1. Select one of the Pre-defined Fill Colours or System Themes and press the Adjust Styles Button
2. Copy the Pivot Table Worksheet into your Workbook and then delete it
3. Use the Pivot Table Styles and Slicer Styles on your own Pivot Tables
There are 34 Pre-defined Fill Colours and 7 Header Colours to start you off. Just select one of them in the Drop-down Combo Box in Cell "D6". The settings will update with the new Colours and the Swatch will be rendered with the main Colours used for the Style - the Long, RGB, HSL and HTML Colour Codes will also be shown. Here are the 34 Colour Styles and 7 Header Colours with a Swatch example for the Calypso Fill Colour and Desert Storm Header Colour (Swatches can be recreated if you change any of the main Colours using the Recreate Swatch Button):
Alpine Bud Calypso Carlsberg Green Catskill White Celeste Citrine White Cream Brulee Cyprus Deep Sea Green Di Serria Green Pea Holly Kangeroo Kashmir Blue Lily Matisse Maverick Medium Carmine Mountain Meadow Mystic Nandor Nebula Nevada Ocean Green Pelorous Periglacial Blue Periwinkle Gray Selective Yellow Silver Tree Swans Down Tawny Port Wedgewood Wewak Alabaster Cararra Desert Storm Desert Storm Dark Gallery Porcelain Wild Sand
Here is a Pivot Table and Slicer created by the Calypso Colour which has Row Banding on by default (this can be toggled on/off as required). Sometimes, depending on the Colour chosen you will have to tweak the settings to use White for specific elements otherwise the Font will be unreadable (I have done this for the Calypso Colour):

Repivot Version 1 has now been deprecated and Version 2 is released as a fully-featured AddIn. The AddIn allows you to create and Save Themes and Styles for both Pivot Tables and Slicers. The benifit of the AddIn is that you can do this as you work, styling and restyling as you want
The first Button is the button used to Restyle or 'Repivot' your Pivot Table. Then you have a separator bar. Then you have a 'Delete Style' Button which will delete the Style named in the Style Box if it exists. The other Button on this section is the 'Delete Theme' Button which will delete the current Theme in the Theme Box if it exists. The Style Name can be entered into the Style Edit Box - this is adjusted or created when the Repivot Button is pressed. The Theme can be selected in this section using the Drop-down Combo Box or you can Type in a new Theme name and a new Theme will be copied from the Default Theme
After the next separator bar you have the 'Select Colours' Button which is a Drop-down Menu enabling you to change the Colours used throughout each Style. You can change the Font, Line, Fill, Headers and Row / Column Banding. Repivot creates a blend of Colours from the single Fill Colour that you select. Repivot also chooses whether to display the Font given or to use a White Font if the luminance means that the Font would not be display or be readable
On this Menu, you can also view a Swatch of all of the Colours with Long, RGB, HSL and HTML Codes
After the next separator, you have all of the Checkboxes that allow added settings like, Bold Header, Bold Filter Lables, Bold Grand Totals, Bold Sub Totals, Banded Row Headers and Underline Row Headers. These are saved automatically with the Theme as they are adjusted
The first Button is the button used to Restyle or 'Reslice' your Slicer. Then you have a separator bar. Then you have a 'Delete Style' Button which will delete the Style named in the Style Box if it exists. The Style Name can be entered into the Style Edit Box - this is adjusted or created when the Reslicer Button is pressed. The Theme can be selected in this section using the Drop-down Combo Box - you cannot Type in any new names, they must be created using 'Repivot'
After the next separator bar you have the Radio Buttons which are used to Style the Slicers in terms of how Light and Dark the Colours are ie. Ultra Light, Light, Lighter, Medium, Dark and Ultra Dark. After the next separator, there are three more Checkbox settings, 'Slicer Border', 'Header Colour as Fill' and 'Dark on Light Variation'. Slicer Border will display a Border for the Slicer or remove it. Header Colour as Fill will use the Header Colour for the Theme instead of the Fill Colour. Dark on Light Variation will swap the way that the Hover Compliment Shade is used ie. Dark on Light Variation will show a darker Fill Colour on Hovering over the Slicer Elements instead of a lighter Fill Colour on Hovering over the Slicer Elements. After the last separator, there is an 'Unselected Items Shade' adjustment which allows a tweak to the Shade rendered for Unselected Slicers with or without Data
Themes are inbuilt into the Repivot Workbook using VBA and set specific settings including Colours. Select a Theme by clicking into the Cell "N25". I will select the Carlsberg Green Theme. You will notice that everything changes nicely to fit the Theme. Press the Adjust Styles Button to Style the Pivot Tables and Slicers - here is an image of the Carlsberg Green Theme on a Pivot Table and Slicer:

This is a demo of Selecting the Carlsberg Green Theme and Copying the Style into a Closed Workbook
How can I apply an Excel Theme Colour to the settings?
Choose the 'xlDialogPatterns' option from the Drop-down Combo Box for the Colour Picker Dialog. Then you can pick a Colour Theme
How do I copy a Style into my own Spreadsheet?
You have a few options. You can use the 'Copy Styles to Blank Workbook' Button to copy 1 or more of the Styles into a Blank Workbook with the option of copying the Swatch Colours as well. You can use the 'Copy Styles to Closed Workbook' Button to copy 1 or more of the Styles into a Closed Workbook where you simply select your Excel File and the Code will do the rest. Lastly you can simply Copy the 'Pivot Table' Worksheet directly into your own Workbook and then immediately delete it - the Styles will persist and then you can use them in your own Workbook
